Keaton Kasiguran Named Assistant Men’s Soccer & Golf Coach
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College head men's soccer and golf coach Nick Thompson has announced the hiring of Keaton Kasiguran as assistant men's soccer and golf coach.
"I am very excited to have Keaton on board at ENC. He has been a good friend for many years having played in high school and college together, and our friendship goes far beyond soccer. He is someone who is very passionate, loyal, and determined to help push forward the Eastern Nazarene men's soccer and golf programs," commented Thompson. "He will be a great asset to me in every facet of both programs. He knows the kind of players we want to bring in, the way we want to play and train, and the culture we are going to create. I am confident he will fully invest himself in these programs and more importantly in these student-athletes and make a big impact here at ENC."
Kasiguran was a four-year letterwinner at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania from 2007-10 alongside Thompson.
He helped the Falcons to four straight Commonwealth Conference crowns, four consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament Final Four appearances and three NCAA Division III National Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Kasiguran was involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Messiah while also taking a cross-cultural trip to Ghana in 2011.
Kasiguran has served as head coach of the Ambassadors Football Club 98/99 team since 2011. He has also participated as a coach at Summer Soccer Camps hosted by Messiah College and the United States Naval Academy.
He interned with the Harrisburg City Islanders professional soccer club of the United Soccer League from in the spring of 2011. Kasiguran's role involved writing press releases, administering player questionnaires, preparing season ticket forms, merchandising, game-day setup and managing the club's website.
Kasiguran has worked as a classroom instructor with Operation Keepsake, Inc. based out of Twinsburg, Ohio since December 2011.
A native of Oakwood Village, Ohio, Kasiguran graduated from Messiah in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management.
Thompson, a 2011 graduate of Messiah College, will be entering his first season on the Eastern Nazarene sideline in the fall after joining the Lions in March 2015.
