Men’s Golf Places Sixth at Rich Korzec Invitational to Wrap Up Spring
SUTTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's golf team captured a sixth-place finish at the Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational Tuesday at Blackstone National Golf Club hosted by Worcester State University.
The Lions combined for a score of 381 to edge out Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Becker College.
Senior Scott Hansen (Middletown Springs, Vt.) shot a team-low 82 to set a new program record and finish tied for 16th place. Hansen parred 10 holes on the day and drained one birdie.
Hunter Hill (North Wales, Pa.) turned in a score of 93 to claim 34th place while Jared Toney (Manassas, Va.) carded a mark of 100.
Daniel Compitiello (East Northport, N.Y.) and Drew Lester (Tulsa, Okla.) also competed for Eastern Nazarene at the event.
Rhode Island College's Patrick Ford earned the individual title with a score of 73 to lead the Anchormen to the team crown.
