Men’s Hoops Wraps Up Season with 82-70 Win at Elms
CHICOPEE, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team capped off the 2020-21 campaign with an 82-70 victory at Elms Friday evening.
The Lions finish the season with a 5-3 overall record with the win while the Blazers dip to 0-3 on the year.
Luke Dagley (Weymouth, Mass.) poured in a career-high 22 points to lead all scorers. Corey McGhee (Alexandria, Va.) netted a season-best 17 points and grabbed five rebounds. David Lopez (Miami, Fla.) scored 15 points, hauled in seven boards, and dished out five assists.
The visitors narrowly trailed 35-33 at the break after shooting 48.3% from the floor and 20% from beyond the arc in the first half.
Eastern Nazarene stormed back in the second frame to outscore Elms 49-35 to claim the come-from-behind victory.
The Lions concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 51.6% while connecting on 9-of-26 from three-point range. The Blazers shot 44.3% from the floor and 41.7% from long distance on the evening.
Tahquell Cadle scored a team-high 15 points for the home team while Reinieri Ramos chipped in with 13 points and DJ Edelen added 10 points.
