Polsgrove Adds Logan Sharp as Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball head coach Scott Polsgrove has announced the hiring of assistant coach Logan Sharp.
A 2014 graduate of Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, Sharp played four seasons for the Lions where he appeared in 59 career games and dished out 87 assists while grabbing 48 rebounds. During his four years at Bryan, the team amassed 64 victories and reached the Appalachian Athletic Conference finals in 2013.
Sharp has been a head AAU coach and basketball skills trainer at the Knoxville Basketball Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Prior to attending Bryan College, Sharp was a standout basketball player at Alcoa High School in Alcoa, Tennessee where he garnered all-county, all-district, and all-region honors. He also helped the Tornadoes' football team capture three-straight state championships.
Sharp earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health Sciences from Bryan in 2014.
The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team posted a 13-14 overall record in 2016-17 and reached the Commonwealth Coast Conference semifinals for the third time in five years.
