Men's Basketball's John Cramer Earns Spot on 2012-13 NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Recent Eastern Nazarene College graduate John Cramer was named to the 2012-13 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, as announced by the NABC.
Cramer was one of over 700 student-athletes from over 285 colleges and universities across the nation to be recognized with the award.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes collegiate basketball players who excelled in academics during the 2012-13 season from NCAA Division I, II and III as well as NAIA Division I and II institutions.
In order to qualify for the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2012-13 academic year. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
Cramer, who graduated in May with a degree in Physical Education, started seven contests in his senior season while making 24 appearances. He helped the Lions to their most successful season since 1996-97. Eastern Nazarene finished the 2012-13 campaign with an 18-9 overall record and reached the semifinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament. The Lions concluded the regular season with an 11-7 league mark, good for fourth in the conference while securing the program's first home playoff game in 12 years.
