Baseball Upsets Nationally-Ranked Colby, 14-11
WATERVILLE, Maine- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team triumphed at Colby 14-11 Tuesday evening. The Mules entered the contest ranked No. 24 in the latest American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) National Poll, No. 24 in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25, and No. 4 in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings.
THE BASICS:
Score: Eastern Nazarene 14, Colby 11

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene chalked up an early run in the top of the first inning to snag a 1-0 edge.
- Colby answered with three runs in the bottom of the first to grab a 3-1 lead.
- The Lions tallied twice in the third to level the score at 3-3.
- Eastern Nazarene plated one run in the fourth inning to reclaim a one-run advantage, 4-3.
- The Mules manufactured a run in the fifth to pull even at 4-4.
- The visitors produced three runs in the top of the sixth inning to capture a 7-4 lead.
- Colby scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at 7-7.
- Eastern Nazarene rattled off five runs in the eighth to own a 12-7 cushion.
- The Mules generated three runs in the home half of the eighth frame to cut the deficit to 12-10.
- The Lions tacked on a pair of runs in the ninth to extend the margin to 14-10.
- Colby managed one run in the bottom of the ninth as Eastern Nazarene earned its second-consecutive win in the all-time series.

- Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) racked up three hits, four runs scored, and one RBI.
- Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) finished with four RBIs, three runs scored, and two hits.
- Matthew Serrata (Ozone Park, N.Y.) went 3-for-5 from the dish on the night and scored one run.
- O'Neil Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) notched two base knocks, three RBIs, and a run scored.
- Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) chipped in with two hits, two RBIs, and one run.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) landed two base hits and scored two runs.
- Colby Rohr (Highland Village, Texas) hurled five innings and recorded two strikeouts. Paul Foster (North Billerica, Mass.) worked two innings of relief and fanned one batter. Liam Bruskewicz (Granite Springs, N.Y.) tossed one frame of relief and registered one strikeout. Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) pitched one inning and picked up his first career save.
