Baseball Opens League Play with 10-2 Victory at Lesley, Extends Win-Streak to 11
LEXINGTON, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team downed Lesley 10-2 Friday evening in the first New England Collegiate Conference tilt of the spring to collect its 11th win in a row.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene manufactured a pair of runs in the top of the second inning to establish a 2-0 lead. Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) scurried home from third base on an infield hit by Brandon Guerrero (Boston, Mass.). Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) followed with a bases-loaded walk to knock in Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.).
- The Lions scored twice in the third to double their advantage to 4-0. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) roped a double to left field to drive in Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) and Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.).
- The visitors used a six-run outburst in the fourth frame to widen the margin to 10-0. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) laced a triple to left field to plate Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). Frank Landeiro (Orlando, Fla.) collected his team-leading 19th RBI of the season, knocking in Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) with an RBI groundout. Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) absorbed a hit-by-pitch with the bases full to score Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.). Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) crossed the dish on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) absorbed a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded to drive in Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.). Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) motored home from third base on a wild pitch.
- Lesley got on the board in the bottom of the fifth, chalking up two runs to cut the deficit to 10-2.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) tallied two hits, two runs scored, and two stolen bases.
- Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) notched a pair of base knocks, one RBI, and one run scored.
- Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) finished with two RBIs, one hit, and a run scored each.
- Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) chipped in with three runs scored and two stolen bases.
- Spencer Boynton (Tampa, Fla.) threw his fourth complete game of the spring in his fifth start and improved to 4-0 on the hill. The sophomore struck out a season-high 13 batters while scattering just one hit and zero earned runs in seven innings of action.
