Riley Sullivan Joins ENC Baseball’s Class of 2018
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene head coach Addison Rouse has announced the addition of Riley Sullivan to the program's incoming class.
Sullivan is a catcher currently attending Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California. Sullivan has played on the Warriors' varsity baseball team for the past two years.
A four-time scholar-athlete award recipient, Sullivan owns a 4.3 grade-point average.
He also competed in water polo as a freshman and sophomore. Sullivan was named Offensive MVP after leading his team in goals as a rookie.
Sullivan has played on numerous elite scout baseball teams. In his junior year, he earned the Coach's Award while playing for the SoCal Halos. This summer he will be playing for the SoCal Wahoos, a top-ranked scout team in Southern California.
In October 2013, he was invited to try-out for the Academic Games in Peoria, Arizona.
Sullivan plans on majoring in General Engineering at Eastern Nazarene.
"We are thrilled that Riley chose Eastern Nazarene College. He is dynamic behind the plate and also swings the bat well. Riley is a high-character kid with an infectious demeanor, which was evident when he visited the campus," said Rouse.
The Eastern Nazarene baseball program's incoming group consists of 12 players with the addition of Sullivan. He joins Bobby Barber, Joe Cardaropoli, Ryan Connolly, Brent Houle, Brandon Loran, Caleb Lynch, Joe Meli, Michael Rupp, Eric Shea, Andy Vasquez and Armand Vizari as the Lions' newest crop of players.
