Brandon Loran Joins ENC Baseball’s Class of 2018
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene head coach Addison Rouse has announced the addition of Brandon Loran to the program's incoming class.
An infielder from Shrub Oak, New York, Loran currently attends Lakeland Senior High School after transferring from John F. Kennedy High School.
He boasts a batting average of .420 with an on-base percentage of .547 and 14 walks on the season.
Loran played varsity baseball for one year at John F. Kennedy High School as a second baseman. He transferred to Lakeland Senior High School for his senior year and plays third base on the baseball team.
Loran also plays at the club level for the North Salem Tigers and the Northeast Pride Tournament team from New York.
He has competed at the Baseball Heaven Tournament, Blue Chip Invitational, Diamond Nation Tournament, All-American Invitational, Wood Bat Showcase, Blue Chip Northeast Elite Tournament, Wood Bat Championship and Showball Academic Showcase.
"We are very excited about the addition of Brandon to our program here at ENC. He is a great kid and comes from a great family. He will be a real asset to our program and the campus. On the field, he will compete for playing time in our infield and we think he is going to have a great career in a Lions uniform," stated Rouse.
The Eastern Nazarene baseball program's incoming group consists of 10 players with the addition of Loran. He joins Bobby Barber, Joe Cardaropoli, Ryan Connolly, Brian Houle, Caleb Lynch, Joe Meli, Michael Rupp, Eric Shea and Andy Vasquez as the Lions' newest crop of players.
