Baseball Bolsters Class of 2018 with Addition of Rupp
QUINCY, Mass.- Eastern Nazarene baseball head coach Addison Rouse has announced the addition of Michael Rupp to the program's incoming crop of players.
Rupp is a native of Bradenton, Fla. where he attends Bayshore High School.
A left-handed pitcher standing at 5-foot-11, Rupp finished his junior season sporting a 4-3 record and a 3.19 ERA on the hill. He pitched 30 innings as a junior and struck out 32 batters.
Rupp is a National Honor Society member and plans on majoring in Communications at Eastern Nazarene.
"Michael is a left-handed arm, which is always a positive, and has great pitching talent and potential. He attacks the strike zone and has really good stuff. We are thrilled to have him join the program and think he has the potential and ability to help us on the mound immediately. Michael enjoyed visiting the campus and he hit it off well with our players. He will be an outstanding addition to the program and campus," said Rouse.
Rupp increases the Lions' incoming group to nine as he joins Bobby Barber, Joe Cardaropoli, Ryan Connolly, Brian Houle, Caleb Lynch, Joe Meli, Eric Shea and Andy Vasquez.
