Henry Siercke Named Recipient of Inaugural GNAC Man of the Year Award
WINTHROP, Mass.- Henry Siercke (Hamburg, Germany), a 2020 graduate and alumnus of the Eastern Nazarene College men's tennis team, has been selected as one of two recipients of the first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference Man of the Year Award. Siercke shared the honor with Noah Robinson from Saint Joseph's (Maine).
The inaugural winners were selected based on same parameters as the NCAA's Woman of the Year Program, including academic achievement, athletics excellence, service & leadership, and a personal statement.
On the court, Siercke was selected as both the 2019 GNAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and GNAC Tournament MVP. When Eastern Nazarene previously competed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, he was tabbed a 2018 All-CCC second team pick and the 2017 CCC Rookie of the Year.
In 2019, Siercke helped the Lions claim their first-ever GNAC championship and make their NCAA Tournament debut.
Carrying a 3.93 GPA as a Business Management Major, his service and leadership activities included the ENC Business Society, the ENC International Student Organization, as well as serving as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member. He is a three-time Academic All-Conference choice and a 2018 ITA Scholar-Athlete.
